Directors of the Year Awards 2024

Town Ray's exceptional management practices and forward-thinking leadership vision have earned it great praise in the industry. This year, Mr. Chan Wai Ming, our Group’s Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, was awarded the “Directors of The Year Award 2024” by the Hong Kong Institute of Directors (the “HKIoD”) in recognition of his significant contributions to social responsibility, corporate governance, and innovation.

“Directors of The Year Award” is organized by HKIoD, and is co-organized by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, the Securities and Futures Commission, and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Established in 2001, this award, which rewards extraordinary corporate leaders and directors, is the first of its kind in Asia and has come to represent excellence in the Hong Kong business community. The theme for this year, "Leading with Agility in an Era of Innovation", highlights the ability of winning directors to navigate today’s dynamic landscape.

The awards ceremony was held on November 28, 2024, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, where Mr. Chan was honored by Ir Edmund Leung, Deputy Chairman of the HKIoD, for his exceptional leadership and contributions to strategic business development and the Group’s reputation in a complex economic environment.
