Media Interview by Radio Television Hong Kong

The local radio station, Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK), has conducted an interview with our Group’s Company Secretary and Executive Director, Mr. Chiu Wai Kwong, in its financial editor program “Bucket of Gold”. The program was hosted by RTHK’s Financial of RTHK, Mr. Lo Ka Lok. The content of this interview was also published in his investment column in the iMoney Magazine.

During the interview, Mr. Chiu summarised the competitive strengths and recent developments of our Group. He highlighted 3 areas: the focus on the high-to-mid-end product market, the uniqueness of our product design, and our commitment to high reliability and safety standards. The rise of home economy also benefits the Group. The new normal creates the trend of home dining which increases the demand for cooking appliances. Expenditure on garment care appliances has increased despite lower household spending on clothing. The increase mainly comes from the use of garment care appliances to sterilize home fabrics.

Furthermore, Mr. Chiu introduced the Group’s development plans in the near future. The Group is planning to enter the market of Mainland China, with the Great Bay Area serving as a starting point. The Group is also actively investing to upgrade its production facilities to increase productivity, automation level and energy efficiency.
