2024 Greater Bay Area Listed Companies ESG100 Green Development Awards — Corporate Governance Award of the Year

With its outstanding performance in environmental protection, social responsibility and corporate governance, Town Ray is awarded the “Corporate Governance Award of the Year” (the “Award”) at the Greater Bay Area Listed Companies ESG100 Green Development Awards presentation ceremony. This honour recognizes our exceptional corporate governance system, excellent disclosure practices, and well-established corporate decision-making mechanisms.

The Award were presented during the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area Listed Companies Summit 2024, which is organized by the Greater Bay Area Association of Listed Companies, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Investors Public Relations Group, the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB), and the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area and Shenzhen Strategic Emerging Industry Development and Promotion Association. The Award aims to set industry benchmarks and encourage more companies to comprehend ESG principles and comprehensively advance their ESG initiatives.

As a leading company in the electrothermic household appliances sector, Twon Ray has consistently prioritized sustainability as its core strategy, excelling in corporate governance, transparency, compliance, risk management and corporate ethics. Management systems and procedures that align with the corporate governance code outlined in the main board listing rules are in place, encouraging all business partners to fully integrate sustainability practices and policies into their operations to achieve shared goals. Additionally, the Group has set up a Sustainability Development Committee to ensure that matters related to environmental protection, employment and labour regulations, operational practices, and community investment are incorporated into overall operations and strategic planning. This allows for effective management and monitoring of sustainability performance and goals, along with the implementation of improvement measures.

The award presentation ceremony took place on November 25, 2024, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong. Mr. Eric Chan, our CEO and Executive Director, was invited to attend and accept the honour on behalf of Town Ray. The Award motivates us to continue our efforts in promoting sustainable development, setting an example for the industry, and contributing to a better future.
